Purpose
The Africa Working Group (AWG) aims to address the challenges of operating across Africa to explore for, mine, process, and refine the critical minerals needed for the
energy transition.
The focus of the group is to promote Western companies as partners of choice for African industry and governments.
Goals

Identify key challenges that can be tackled collectively by the critical minerals industry

Enable action-focused thought leadership on key issues including: access to finance, responsible practices, value-add

Dismantle barriers to market entry in partnership with African governments

Connect like-minded businesses together

Diversify existing supply chains
